Beautiful Art

My cousin, Jane, sent a picture of her latest piece of art work. In my personal opinion, its fantastic and looks very professional. I think she got the time and talent to do these stuff. Well, considering she's not majoring in arts but law...ok, maybe it comes together in a way but its still impressive from her. Here r sum of her pics...

Jane, unlike us, started off not wif colouring pencils but oil pastels...wowwwww...her imagination and art are great. A bit abstract wif a blend of reality eventhough ppl dun use rubbish bins as hats.

In the picture above, she learned perspective. Hence, produced a very creative picture on how ppl view us or anybody else differently depending on their nature. Still, using the oil pastels.

The next picture shows the depth and the immense development of her views of persspective. She was still able to blend in her imagination!! I dun reli understand this picture. Is it a person in an egg floating on the clouds in the sky above the sea during a sunny day looking out the window or jus a painting on an easter egg or is it the view thru the telescopic lens or is it a view of another person looking out from another floating egg? But this time she used canvas from her paintings which is a massive improvement over normal sketch book and paper.

Sakuras or cherry blossoms gives a very peaceful image. In this particular picture, she mastered the art of mouse and keyboard imaging using a computer. A bit rough but she's getting thr already. All I know when I first used the computer to draw was basic shapes. Fantastic. I think there is too little sakuras on it because normally sakuras bloom abundantly not a few here and there. Either way, great start.

Here comes my personal favourite. This picture is done by her and her fren. She drew the boat, took a pic of the boat, took another separate pic of the crayon and pencil and her fren puts them all together. The result? A masterpiece. LOL. It is great. She is now a professional. Her hardwork on mastering arts from the basic was reli worth the time and effort she had put it. She puts all her skills into a piece of art. She and her fren are fantastic art partners. LOL.

Last but not least, a big thank you to my cousin and her fren for providing me these pictures to blog with. Anyway, this is her...TA DAH!!!!!!

PhotoSynth

No title

This is sumthing I found over the summer. It is called Photosynth by Microsoft Live labs. Its very cool and accurate. I uploaded sum pics which my baobei bibi and I took in Barcelona. Try have a look by clicking the pic below. The only downside is tat u need a set of photos which were taken in a same area. Thr r a couple of preview on the Photosynth site and it comes with a tutorial on how to get the best effect out of ur photos. When I mentioned accurate, I mean u upload the set of photo u want and it will automatically put the photos in place. Jus fool around on the site and u'll understand wat i mean. Its jus so cool.

Here's a sample on how it looks. Click on it the view my photosynth.

When Photosynth was launched in a conference ( i forgot which), Bill Gates demo-ed the site and it hanged. They traced the problem back to their Photosynth server. It was overloaded with Photosynth request from all around the world which was too much for the server to handle. It was to the extent they installed additional server to cope with the demand. The site still undergoes server maintainence from time to time but its still a great experience. Mind u, Photosynth is still in beta stage so errors occur. LOL...its typical of Microsoft, dun u think?

New Layout

I tried google-ing (its a term now) nice layouts for my blog. I'm not so sure bout the one I'm using now so give me some thoughts on it. I think it looks weird. I tried some other ones which turned my blog into italian and another one which switch everything upside down. So, I settled with tis. I like blue. Its easy on the eyes like the blue sky. Oh ya, I enjoy watching the clear blue skies from my lab. It has huge windows. It'll come with the pictures next week if I'm not busy tat is.

Isn't it calm....aaahhhhhhhhhh

Tiring day

Rite, labs. For my final year projects, my topic is about how ecstasy affects the activity of mitochondrial cells in rat brains. The preparation from rat to rat brain to mitochondrial rat brain extract takes TWO WHOLE BLOODY HOURS!!! While for the liver and mitochondrial cells, it takes maximum an hour. Why so long? Dun ask me.

So what pissed me off this morning was tat everytime I went in late, my tutor prepared the cells early at around 9am and everytime I went in early, he prepared it late around 10.30am. Why does he do tat? You dun expect me to go in the labs at sit thr watching u prepare the bloody cells for two freaking hours. I rather stay at home or in the library sleeping or going online for tat time period. I've been doing the labs for 5 weeks now and its 9am to 5pm every monday, tues and wed. Wed is half lectures and half lab though. Either way, I'm not in the position to complain since I chose the topic but, hey, everyone needs whining once in a while rite. LOL!!!!

I'll update some pics of my labs here. And dun ask me for ectasy. The one I'm using is extremely potent.

Having trouble looking for excuses to escape from school or work?

I was browsing a gadget site and I found this!!!! I guess some geeks needs an excuse from work too. LOL!!! This site is so interesting. There are tons of sample notes from doctor tat they put on the site to prove it. I find it amusing as it looks real. Well, the downside is u need to pay for it. It seems like a scam to me but since it has been featured on CNN and Fox News, i guess thr is no harm in trying it :p Click on the pictures to view the site.

Thr is the UK, Australia and New Zealand edition below. Its featured on BBC news. U got a choice of NHS and Private GP. Don't u think its cool. Its quite a bit of money though. I rather go to school is tis case. Sigh!!!

Click on the picture to view the site.

Actually I'm wondering if any of u have ever forged a doctors note or ask any doctors to write a sick letter for u even if u r not sick. I know I haven't except tat my mom help me to call in sick for school. Does tat count?

Sunday 26 October 2008

I had a terrible heartburn today. It might be tat i starved from 6am to 1pm and had a heavy lunch afterwards. Then, bibi, swee yen, john, steven and me went shopping in Tesco for our weekly food. It started between we finished shopping and on our way home. So I took a bath first, lied down on the bed and my bibi gave me some antacids to eat. It got better 10 minutes later. Hahahaha...now I'm up and running again.

Xabi Alonso yesterday said tat he would end Chelsea's 86-game unbeaten home record. Guess wat? He DID!!!! Hurray for Liverpool fans and Chelsea haters (inc. me)!!! He's a great guy. He reli is.

LG KS20

I love my LG KS20. It such a splendid phone. I'm very into customizing it lately. I've tried tons of software on it and if i hated it i jus reset the whole phone. It jus so customizable. I recently fool around with the TouchFlo 2D and TouchFlo 3D although the 3D version doesn't work properly yet as it keeps hanging and i keep reseting my phone. If any of u have a Windows Mobile phone, a trip to the XDA Developers forum is a MUST. Those guys there are the saints of Windows Mobile.

I'll upload sum pics of my beautiful phone soon. Let u guys see sum other pics of the LG KS20 as well.

Update: Uploaded here

Although I'm hoping to get tis as my new phone. HAHAHAHA.

Come on Man Utd!!!!!

I saw the football results today and Man Utd was disappointing against Everton. I'm a huge fan of Man Utd...sigh...Ronaldo wasn't on form, Rooney din try hard enuf and why is Nani and Anderson benched? The game by Sunderland is fantastic. They're doing quite well actually together with Hull. Its very surprising how inspiration and a little bit of change can do to these small teams.

So, WTH R U DOING MAN UTD?!?!?!?

At LasT

I've finally started blogging. I couldn't resist the temptation to blog when my bibi opened one. I had an account on Xanga agessss ago but din reli get it started. I ended up on blogspot. LOL...so there you have it...my blog. I reli din know wat to blog at first so i created a.........POLL (ok its not exciting, i know). Its jus for fun anyway. I was jus wondering how low ppl would think it can go since it all bout the recession and depriciation.

Rite. Since i'm all new to tis stuff. I would try my best to look around and try to pimp it up a bit. I would jus wish if blogspot accept my yahoo mail cos i rarely access my gmail.
