Who says man and woman are not equal??

Take a look at this!!!!! a MAN BRA!!!!!!!!!! How crazy is tat!?!?!?!?!

The nothing -better-to-do Malaysian Govt.

As most malaysian shud know by now is tat the Malaysian Goverment is banning yoga due to yoga's indian inherent. Personally i think its jus an unwise and ultimately stupid decision. I hav a better suggestion instead, why dun the Malaysian Goverment try improving the economy state like every other countries. When the fuel prices rises, dun jus ask ur people to pray for the oil prices to come down (yep, tats wat pak lah asked us to do). I better spend tat time praying for myself to pass the exams.

Wat did the goverment do for the economy? nothing, instead they go around banning ppl from exercising when they want to cut down obesity in Malaysia. Crap man...stupid malaysian goverment.

Dun jus keep increasing the fuel prices in malaysia. make an effort to lower it. Keep ur promises. no wonder the BN loses so many seats this time. Pathetic.

Also as we all know, Bruce lee is one of the most famous martial art expert ever lived. His nun-chunks skills r incredible and his moves r fluid and fast. Here is a new promotional video of the bruce lee edition.

Have u tried playing ping-pong with nunchunks????

1st weekly updates

I haven't been updating my blog this week. I was so lazy to login and type. I was also lazy in labs, lazy at home, i did my laundry only a week after washing them up, i haven't been doing homeworks and the lot. all i have been doing was going out sleep a lot, go out again and sleep again.

Me, bibi and our housemates and frens went to a new bowling centre in Sunderland. it was free for students on Tuesday night. it was totally different from other bowling centres i've seen b4. its got loud music, a pub, arcades and the best of all was the uv lighted bowling lanes. the floor was new and oily which makes it slippery and very hard to bowl on. I dun reli fancy the loud music in a bowling alley. i got tired of the bowling because of their system failures tat happens on every game we play, it was annoying but the staff was nice and eager to help eventhough we're chinese. i think that was cool...no racism like sum other place. they had soft vinyl (synthetic leather) sofa for us, waitresses walks around to order ur drinks or help u when there is technical problems, and screen to tell u how to take ur shot for ur next bowl. LOL!!! Actually i think we spent more time playing pool then bowling cos it took a long time to get hold of a lane. Its a great place i admit but its dark and loud.

On wednesday i went late into labs. I was lazy as i said b4. I took a pic of the blue sky from the labs that i was talking about previously. i was waiting for the clouds to clear up, tats y it took so long for a pic. See how blue the sky is...the white clouds moving.

I went in late, finished up quickly and went home. bibi and me had plans that night. we were going to have dinner wif noel and esther at nandos in newcastle then went for a movie. Noel, my tutor, taught how to eat nandos correctly. since he likes wild herb from nandos, he gave a demo using it.
1. order ur chicken, preferably whole chicken.
2. grab hold of a bottle of wild herb.
3. pull the top off the bottle.
4. pour the sauce all over ur plate till it fills up or when there is no more sauce left in the bottle.
5. take ur chicken, drench it with the sauce on ur plate.
6. using ur bare hands, tear the meat off the chicken and eat barbarically with ur chicken covered full with wild herd or ur sauce of preference.

Then we went to watched max payne featuring mark walhberg and olga kurylenko. it funny how some ppl watch the movie cos a bond girl was inside it acting. I think that the bond girl overshadows mark walhberg's name. LOL!!! she only acted for a short moment in the movie which was a pity. overall, the movie wasn't up to my expectations. i played the game before and it was thrilling and fun but the movie wasn't. it was boring and it lacks the feeling of having a storyline. so in other words, not recommended.

Here's a scene from the movie.

What I do in labs???

I've been meaning to put sum pics about my labs on my blog. I'm doing a research on whether ectasy (the pills u take to get high or 'yao tou' medicine) have any effect on mitochondria. I'm not going to bore u with the details cos it reli is BORING~~!!!!!!

These are the syringes which I have label nice and tidy so I dun mess up which is which.

My micropipette, ectasy (right), buffers (left)

A larger micropipette and a larger syringe used to suck the mitochondria out after u're finished with them.

The plastic ice-cream container is whr i throw all the used mitochondria. The ice in the plastic bowl is to keep my mitochondria cool in this already freezing-me-to-death weather.

Here u have the machine tat calculates the amount of oxygen used up by the mitochondria (i think).

Here is an overview of my lab. The person on the left is my tutor, Dr. Paul Franklin and on the right is soon-to-be Dr. Dilwar Hussien who is the only guy in my lab tat i could talk guy's stuff to. LOL. We were comparing our facial hair today actually. LOL.

The all important brain mitochondria to ensure the success of my project. 6 white mice had been sacrificed for this little amount (~0.3ml). I salute those white mice for the sacrifice they made to help the future of mankind.

The recorder to get hold of all my readings.

The two girls, Olga and Lydia, who are my labmates and classmates. They hav been so kind to provide me ADP which Dr. 'kiam siap' Franklin won't bother giving me cos he said we've got too much of it. Its jus always the 3 of us, sumtimes 4 if Dilwar is in, chatting about and entertaining each other. Sad...isn't it?

Last but not least, the most important thing in the lab, the RADIO!!!! Without it, we would've been roasted by heat and boredom. The radio kept us company and fills the lab with music. We normally tume into Galaxy FM only cos it was the only station it would receive. The radio in so damn old tat every single dials and knobs contributes to the clarity of the radio signal...how weird is tat? The speakers on the radio are for Olga's iPod, just in case we got tired of Galaxy.

Only a few more weeks of lab left...SIGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Canon 5D Mark II

This camera is the world's 1st DSLR with HD video and HD pictures. There hav been lots of reviews on it but the thing i wan to touch about is its video quality. Its jus STUNNING!!!!! The quality is very close to a professional camcorder but in the size of a DSLR. Here's a forbbiden video taken by a blogger on Akihabaranews.com.

There is another video taken by very professional ppl but the link isn't working for now so I din include it in this post. There are a few pictures taken by the blogger to try it out. There is almost no noise at the highest ISO setting of ISO3200. No other camera in my mind hav ever achieve this. Mind you its still the beta version of the 5D. AWESOME QUALITY. The only problem is the price...its roughly touching GBP2000 (body only), with a EF 24-105mm f4.0L IS USM lens its GBP2500. Here are the links for preview pics...

The packet is so huge tat we were surprised. A normal pack is 85g and tis is 400g!!! It taste like the Double Decker Prawn Crackers we had in Malaysia...u know the red packet keropok like tis...

Old version packaging (can't find, if u find 1 let me know)

New version packaging

Apparently, Nong Shim makes a lot of instant noodles too, the Korean ramen version (hot and spicy).

WiNNie the pOOh

I was reading the news on BBC jus now and I stumbled on this news. This brings back so much memories. The 1st time i heard tis song was when i was 5 yrs old. It all started since then, i watched all the episodes of winnie the pooh cartoons the laser disc (no CDs at tat time yet) shop had back then. I woke up early in the morning (at 6am), turned on the laser disc player, inserted the disc in, turn on the tv and pressed play. Could u imagine tat?? Operating a player at 5yrs old?? I'm proud of myself...LOL!!! Well...ok...nowadays kids at 5 can turn on a PC or a Laptop, can't beat tat rite? LOL..anyway, i'll leave sumthing for us to reminisce.

The Booming of the Riches in Miri

[UPDATE: 7/11/08]
After looking at tis post the 2nd time, it made me think about the financial crisis. How the hell these ppl got so much money in a middle of a turmoil? The fuel prices too...the fuel is so expensive nowadays in Malaysia and they still can drive around in cars tat take up fuel faster than 'ang mo' drink beer. Sigh...whr did all the money come from? Again, damn those rich bastards.

I was chatting to my bro the other day and I realised tat the sudden rise of rich ppl in Miri are increasing...judging by their car at the very least. I mean this is no joke...all the cars are damn well expensive which i dun think anybody can afford...here r sum pics...

As u can see, thr r lots of LanEvo X, Nissan 200SX, Nissan 240SX, Nissan 350Z, Ferrari F430 Spider, Porsche 993, Nissan Skyline R34 GTR and GTT, Nissan GT-R (R35), BMw M5, Lexus IS, Honda Type-Rs.

I heard thr is also an Aston Martin DB9 and a Lambo Gallardo LP-560. I'm not very sure bout those 2 car but it has been seen around Miri. Oh ya, thr is also an Enzo. HAHAHA!!!

Screw those rich bastards. I think tat besides rich ppl, the ah bengs is increasing too.

Quoted from GSMArena.

[UPDATE: 5/11/08]
Here are the pics of the Milk Tea only...tmr comes the PEARL!!!!! the pics are not very good as i used my trusty LG KS20 to take it...

See how smooth and milky it is??? So refreshing...

My baobei bibi made pearl milk tea for swee yen and me today. Actually, she made it for us yesterday too. It was EXTREMELY FANTASTIC!!!!!! I JUS LOVE IT!!! I din took a picture of it cos I finished it all before I remembered to take any pictures. Man, I jus want to drink it again all day long. Its the best if its made wif Lipton Yellow Label. Sigh...BI, I WAN MORE!!!!!!!!!!!

PeLoTuAh, PerTuLa???

[UPDATE: 3/11/08]
I personally drove the Kelisa before 2 years ago. It is light and zippy. The car is so small tat I can't press the accelerator pedal only. If I wan to step on the gas, i'll step on the brake too!! How stupid is tat?? Anyways, I drove the car to a Puspakom for a checkup (Malaysian MOT). The car accelerates quickly eventhough its only 3 cylinder but thanks to the light weight. I got up to 160kph easily since its a manual BUT i slowed down at 165kph because of fear. The car at 165kph was practically floating. I can't feel my front wheels making any connection to the road especially the state of Malaysian roads (crap roads). The car was already boucing at 140kph actually but I enjoyed it. All in all, good city car, BAD CAR FOR HIGHWAY DRIVING (all u gonna see is tail lights).

I read john's (my housemate) blog yesterday and he touched on the Fiat 500 and the Perodua Kelisa. This reminds me of the videos of Perodua Kelisa I've watch on Top gear. Its freaking hilarious.

'made in a jungle clearing by ppl who goes to work on a ox.'

Tats Malaysia for u then...NOT...this is Malaysia...

A FABULOUS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!

anyway, here are the videos...the 1st video is a good review of the car and the 2nd video jus shows Jeremy Clarkson's discontent of the car. LOL!!!!!!!!
