HTC Touch Pro 2

First up, Pics!!! This is the Touch Pro 2 T-mobile US version which doesn’t have a secondary vga camera for video calls. The other differences are the easier to access microSD card slot and the easier to press reset button. Both of which can be accessed without removing the back cover.

Sorry about the colours of the pics. I used the wrong white balance lighting for them. The 3rd pic turned out alright.

My bibi got the European edition of this phone which is the chrome and silver one. I found that her keyboard is nicer to type and my keyboard is a bit hard. The rest are all the same except for some differences mentioned before the pics.

Reading everything carefully before asking any questions at all. All instructions are clear and will work 100% when followed carefully!!!

Some apps or softwares are compatible with other WVGA screen devices like Diamond 2/Topaz, TouchHD/Blackstone, HD2/Leo or maybe even Xperia X1 by Sony Ericsson. Try looking around the forums.

Touch Pro2….I WAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HTC has become a force to be reckon’ed with nowadays…they’ve jus recently announced the HTC Touch Diamond2 and the HTC Touch Pro2 and it looks…BRILLIANT!!!!

I’m more interested in the HTC Touch Pro2 because it has a keyboard. Those 2 phones makes my LG KS20 look ridiculous big time. Here are some pics…

The one above is the Touch Diamond2 and the one below is the Touch Pro2.

I love the Touch Pro2. Its huge 3.6’' HD screen, its slimmer size, large keys on keyboard, cool metal design and most importantly, its new TouchFlo 3D which is more thoroughly integrated into WIndows Mobile. Too bad its not Windows Mobile 6.5 though, its really 6.5 is like 7 compare to Vista aka 6.1.

There is another software which I was truly disappointed in is the SPB Mobile Shell 3 for Windows Mobile. I was excited about its facebook integration which all Windows Mobile users are dying for. Alas, it was not what i expected, i was thinking that it will have a tab showing facebook status, chat, friends list etc but no…all they showed was how you could click on a contact and it sends you to their FB profile. Well, i haven;t seen the whole product yet. i hope its more than that.
