er....HAPPY New YEAR???

first and foremost, MERRY BELATED XMAS AND NEW YEAR!!!! its been a long time since i've been posting on this blog. a couple of things happened here and there, far and near. so, i'm back and ready to post.

where to start? I went to my cousins place in manchester for a few days. we arrived in manchester at 1am at piccadilly station. We got there without seeing her anywhere. i got my phone out, rang her and heard 'u're here?!?! i'm already on my way there *panting and puffing*. give me 10 minutes *fast and loud footsteps*.' i said 'ok. see you then'. i hung up while my bibi went to the toilets. we paid 30p to enter and when we got out, we saw the janitor teaching ppl how not to pay to get in. pull the lever forward till u can squeeze into the space and TADAH!!! u're in. wat a trick.

after a little more than 10 minutes, she showed up with her ex-flatmate. his name is haseeb (hope the spelling's rite). we chatted for a bit and we're on our way to her new crib. i'll post a couple of pictures up in another post to summarise wat i did in manchester. u dun wan me to specifically list everything we did thr rite???? besides, it going to be a long read.

we then went to london for xmas and boxing day wif my cousin. we booked a travelodge in farringdon which is a million miles from london euston station. it reli is a ridiculously lllllloooooooooonnnnnnnggggggggggggg walk. we then saw a few travelodge along the way which wasn't ours until the very last one. i was freaking tired when we got there. sigh...but wat the heck...its filthy cheap...6 quids a night for a person. beat tat!!! hah!!! hahaha...anyway...we rested a while and we got on our way to WESTFIELD!!!!! i was so excited bout it cos the whole point of me going to london is seeing it. its definitely was HUGE!!!! its almost finished without the cinema and the Louis Vuitton store...pity. first thing we got thr was look around and then EAT!!! so we got to the food court whr the food was SUNGGUH MAHAL!!!!!! 7.50 quids for a few seed of rice and a few pieces of mixed vegetables. i ended up going to boots to get a sandwich. i was wondering why the heck isn't thr a McD in tat huge multiple walled buiding (since its not four walled). we spent a whole afternoon and evening thr but we didn't finish the building so we left and headed for a nice dinner in the city.

we met up with my bibi's frens, donna, samantha and bernard for dinner. then we headed back until i remembered the london overground. i wanted to see one of those in action or even better, ride it. so i asked the ticket counter for info which was a laugh!!! everytime my bibi and me think bout it...we burst into laughter. LOl!!!!!! it was so stupid...hahaha...so then the guy at the ticket counter said its ok. the closest station to ride the overground was euston. we took a tube to euston and when we got thr, we saw a notice...'overground not running'. so, i went back feeling cheated...crap.

xmas day!!!!!!! i made a booking at the 5ifty 4our malaysian restaurant down farringdon road initially but it was at 1pm. we were lazy to go out tat early cos my bibi and me woke up late. so we lingered in the hotel room till late afternoon watching lassie. it was at around 4pm where we then decided to take a stroll. we walked passed the malaysian restaurant noticing it was still opened. we pondered for a while and decided to go in to have some food. while waiting to be shown to our table, i saw my name on the reservation list whr they wrote 'no show'. i felt guilty...hahaha...but the food there was incredibly tasty!!!!!!!!!!! i'm going back thr again for malaysian if i'm in london. the prices wasn't malaysian but its not michelin-star too. we ate happily, paid and off to our stroll.

boxing day!!!!!! we walked all the way to oxford street!!!!!!!!!!!! wat a way to start our shopping spree...i think of it as warming up. we spent the whole day along oxford street doing our shopping. my aim is to get at least a pair of jeans. wat i ended up with is a pair of CAMPER shoes and 2 pair of jeans. my cuz intro-ed CAMPER to me. i bought a pair and i loved it. my bibi choose the shoes though cos she simply has great taste. Thanks bi!!!!!! Thanks cuz!!!!!!! we went to almost every shop on oxford street. phew...walking sure takes the toll of u...

following day!!!!!! went to glasgow and edinburgh. i'll let the pictures do the talking once i got it form my cuz.

back from holiday!!!!!!! i walked in my room. pressed the power button on my laptop. IT WOULDN'T TURN ON!!!!!!!!!!!! WTH!!!!!!!!!!! damn!!!!! i was so frustrated. i usually leave my laptop on for 24/7. then i became soft-hearted, decided to give it some rest and THIS IS HOW U REPAY ME!?!?!?! sigh...i went on a laptop-less marathon for a 2 freaking weeks. i ordered an adapter but the delivery and processing center were off for holiday and it delayed my order. sigh...i have no idea how my adapter went kaput. now, i got a new one and no more mr. nice guy. u r staying on no matter wat.

we spent new years eve and new years day at home snuggling in bed. it was cold outside so we didn't bother to go out. boring!!!! we took out monopoly everyday to the extent i said 'again?!?!?!' hahahaha...sorry bi..*muackssssssssss*. lee kim and hui min came over sometime ago for sleepover. see it here
