I would like to recommend a brilliantly superb PC and Laptop shop in Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia. The shops name? StratOS PC. Click his name card below to access his site!!!!

This fella owning the shop has been of great help in PC to me and he's fantastically friendly. the prices are down to earth (i mean really really cheap). I'm not sure of other places but this is the cheapest i could find anywhere.

He's got a huge range of stuff from Razer's to Case mods to MP3 players. He's selling everything you could think of in a PC or PC-related.

I'm not sure whether he would be willing to ship internationally but i'm sure he wouldn't mind. I'll confirm with him. His prices are negotiable unless stated in his above price lists.

Have you ever find it funny that certain people just don't understand what you need sometimes? I get that a lot. Some people understands what others need. Some people don't. Some people can be unaware of what they do and what they say or even how they act. Some people just don't bother and be themselves.

Talking about being yourself, what does that mean? How do you be yourself? How can you be yourself? When you hear people say 'Don't mind how people look at you and just do what you want to do.', I always thought 'How do you want me to do that?'. I can't just ignore the views and comments of other people but I don't want to entertain the views and comments of other people. If I keep being myself, I'll be all by myself. I don't think being all by myself is a great way to be happy or proud. Sometimes I tend to come out of my comfort zone a lot just to not be myself. I want to learn, see, hear, taste. They say peoples attitude change with time and environment. If being myself means being all by myself, I rather choose a different path, a path which involves challenges to change myself. Can friends influence you to do that? Yes, but only with friends that want to thread the same path as you.

Friends that follow you and supports during the hike and be with you till a part of the way. In that parting, each choose a new path to walk. A path where each person differs. With this, you'll know that among friends, some would just don't understand a part of you, some would try to understand, some would never have understood what you do, did, done. During the hike, everyone talks friendship and tries to build friendship. It helps to finish the journey. Along the way, each learns about each other, talks about each other, fool about each other, fight about each other, love each other, undecided bout each other. Relationship builds bit by bit slowly among them. Affection shows. Affection that you trust and die with. Affection that you willing to carry all along the way. Affection that rivals our relationship with God. This is when a journey ends and a new one begins.

My last two post reflects certain hardships faced in this new journey. A journey which I wouldn't want it to end. A journey that I cherish a lot. A journey which I would ask Lord to give me strength to overcome obstacles. Sometimes you find a fork road, right or wrong you never know. All there is to do sometimes is wander into it with trust and sincerity. Trust that both of you can make. Sincerely support each other to completed the detour made.

This is what I lost. This is what I must regain. I believe that should both of this are with our grasp again, the journey would go on. Why? Because I still LOVE HER!!!!

Feeling pretty down lately. I feel ignored. I feel sad. I'm just lonely to be honest. She's having fun times with her friends but never with me ever since I came back. Tough times calls for tough measures. What measures to I exactly need to take? This is so unlike me. Might be the feeling of jealousy.

Other people showers her with happiness now, I'm just somebody there to listen to her plight in a corner in the dark. No where to go. Nobody to turn to. I just find that her behaviour changes recently. She feels more restricted with me as if I'm a stranger.

We used to be close. We used to be next to each other all the time. We used to talk sweetly. Now, here, at this time, I haven't heard or felt anything like that. I was thinking maybe its her work. She is stressed I understand but the feeling of her turning to friends for more fun and happiness is just unfair for me.

What am I to her now? I still love her. Does she still loves me? Is this her way of showing her affection? Time is something I have and something that I'm willing to give for now. When the time runs out, I'll think about what to do by then. I'll be patient. I'll wait and try to talk to her. I'll give time.

Haven't been posting for a long time but i did update my twitter. After so many things that happened, time changes people but people can't change the world. Its something I heard from my cousin and its sort of true.

Does friends actually makes you feel better? I'm sure they do. Peoples expression and attitudes change around friends. Turn to friends for fun and humour. Turn to friends for advice and help. Turn to friends to make more friends. Friends makes life more interesting. BUT! What about a partner, a boyfriend or a grilfriend, the 'special one'? Does him or her makes you feel even happier? Special = more? If not then isn't having friends enough? Why put effort in building a two-way highway when only one way is running? Effort = Results? Now what type of results? Good? Bad? Now that's a thought to ponder upon for me.

Off to put on my thinking hat.

I recently started Hotel City on Facebook. Its made by Playfish. The same people who did Restaurant City, Pet Society, Country Story and many more. It has the same system of giving out free gifts and points posted on the feeds. I am already on level 17 and catching up fast until that fateful day. My friend shared some free points on her feed which I clicked right away. The points given out were normally 750points or 1050points depending on level but the points I received was 3100002points which was immense! I was so happy and didn’t realise it was a bug. So I clicked ‘Play Hotel City!’ right away.

When I logged in, I was at level 52! So much money! Unlock tons of stuff! I firgured to spend some until this happened.

The amount of money shown was before I started clicking the level up announcements. So the error popped out and I clicked ‘Cancel’. I tried logging in again and…….

TaaaaaaDaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!! This showed up. Now I can’t play stupid hotel city anymore. T-T

My name is Tang Tang, resident of Chongqing City, and three years ago, through work, I met my current boyfriend because. Perhaps it was destiny from heaven for us to meet, and we unwittingly discovered that we had fallen in love. Cruel reality was unable to squelch two hearts burning with mutual love, and while together, we shared joys and sorrows, endured trials and tribulations. We saw the sunset together, bought food and cooked together. We both decided early on that the other person was the one who we’d spend our whole lives with. Even though my boyfriend is from the northeast, having that northeastern directness and unrestrained roughness, he showed me tender affection in every possible way, cherished me to the utmost, and while living together, basically all the housework was done by him. He rarely shouted at me. At the time, we had just graduated from college and had nott yet worked for very long, so we regarded getting married as premature, wanting to spend some time struggling together [establishing one's careers] before getting married. Therefore, we decided to get married on the third anniversary of when we first met (which is March 29, 2010) to evince our love. Since I knew this was not a fairy tale, from the beginning we were vigilant, this was one of those instances of true love and sincere emotion between two people.

Yet the world always has those unfortunate events, and god saw that we were too happy and became envious. Due to his job, my boyfriend went to Sichuan on business in May 2008. What came next was something that shook China and the world, the May 12 earthquake. Afterward, there was no more contact from him. God really knows how to play joke. To search for him, I traversed mountains and waded waters [sic], and overcame many hardships. Those around me all said he had to have perished in the earthquake. But even up till now, I dare not accept that this is the reality. Because no news is good news, alive but unseen, dead but no remains [sic, i.e. no evidence that he’s dead or alive] . Dear, on that day, did you go on a journey by yourself? Were you in the car that day, or? No one has told me. Therefore, I’ve told myself all along that he’s still alive! Could he be like someone from a TV drama that lost his memory? I cannot lose him, and cannot be without him, we still have to spend the rest of our days together! I still have not forgotten our promise to each other.

Afterward, I abandoned my job, took out all my savings, and spent nearly two years time in search of him, grieved time after time, lost hope time after time, all the places I’ve been to have no information about my boyfriend. During this time, my boyfriend’s parents, relatives, friends all urged me to give up and find another person and start a new life, but I gave my entire self and all my heart to him, how could I casually forsake him and find someone else? On the 2nd of March, my Windows 7 started giving out blue screens every 2 hours. I didn’t realise mine was an RC version as I dl through 70rr3n7 until it keeps shutting down on me. A Freebie from Orange by Nintendo

I topped up my Orange a few weeks ago and they send me a SMS saying that I won something made by Nintendo. They said it was a Nintendo handheld mini-game. I was surprised of course and went to Orange’s site to register and collect my prize.

A few days ago, it came. Here it is…

The only problem is ‘Where’s the Freaking ON/OFF button!?!?’ The plastic strip that says ‘PULL’ is THE on/off button which is super lame. The game is not hard to play and extremely retro. I haven’t touch a game like this ever since I got my 1st PC in 1995 when I was 9yrs old. Hmmmm…no wait…maybe tetris…hahaha.

Anyway, I always appreciate free stuff! Thanks Orange and Nintendo!

Another thing, I took these pics with my bibi's small but fantastic Nikon S500. The pics are quite bright considering its 5pm, cloudy and humid weather with closed curtains in a already dim room. The camera itself is fun for me to use. Sadly, its not mine.

First up, Pics!!! This is the Touch Pro 2 T-mobile US version which doesn’t have a secondary vga camera for video calls. The other differences are the easier to access microSD card slot and the easier to press reset button. Both of which can be accessed without removing the back cover.

Sorry about the colours of the pics. I used the wrong white balance lighting for them. The 3rd pic turned out alright.

My bibi got the European edition of this phone which is the chrome and silver one. I found that her keyboard is nicer to type and my keyboard is a bit hard. The rest are all the same except for some differences mentioned before the pics.

I was planning to clean up my room for a while now but hadn’t got the mood to do it. Everything was dusty but it doesn’t stink (luckily!). I rearranged some stuff but mostly are the same.

Baby wipes!! Its what I used to wipe my figures, table, laptop and stuff. Its clean, hygienic and suitable for babies! Costs me 50p for 80 wipes. Don’t know why bibi’s camera gets vignetting. Warning: not suitable for mirrors or laptops screens. I made my mirror worst.

Soft toys!!! Our small collection over the years. Its now way up the shelf. They were usually seen lying around the room. They’re all so cute!!!

Photos and Figures!!! I only tidied them up. Didn’t really made any changes apart from split them taking up 2 shelves. Dusted them and wiped them with baby wipes.

Bare!!! Looks empty to me. Been looking for something to fill it up but couldn’t find anything in the room. hmmmm…*looks around*

A new year, a new day, a new beginning! Well, thats what everyone starts off with and wish for the same thing again at this time every year. hahaha. I stayed at home for the new year with my bibi and watched the london fireworks thru bbc news live. Before that, we were gaming and i went out to take a picture of the moon.

The moon was extremely bright on the night of 31/12/2009 for some reason. Then i saw the news saying that its blue! and the full moon occurred twice this month! So far, thats all i’m gonna type for now.

The Long Lost Me!!!

I haven't been updating my blog frequently lately. I was quite bz with some stuff (lazy being a main reason). Now i'm going to update all of u reading my blog with the latest developments these few months.

Lets see...I Haven't Started Smoking, my cousins and frens have just arrived in small ol' Sunderland for their uni studies, showed them around, brought them to Newcastle, one of my cousins and 2 of her frens are my new housemates, i'm continuing into a MSc. (yay! whatever...), my bibi is back from summer holidays (YAY!!!!!!!!!! MISSED HER!!!!!!!! MUACKSSSSSSSS!!!), i sold my htc touch pro, got a crappy old motorola, sorting out my course registration, haven't sorted my visa application yet, screwed up my bibi's DSi, working as a private part-time htc software advisor for Mr. David Yeo for his Topaz voluntarily (i'm such a good man), made a deep cut into my finger while chopping ginger, old housemates moved out (missed them...well, its not like their at home when they're here anyways..lol), had lots of fun wif new housemates, glad my bibi is getting along wif them very well, recently one of them is named queen (for unfortunate reasons), summer is ending (sigh...), autumn is here (shit, rain!), winter is coming (BIG SIGH!!!!!!!!), trying very hard to unsuccessfully lose weight (hope miracles happen) and i think tats bout it...i'll update if i forgot anything...hehe.

as you can see, its been fun, fun, fun but 2 weeks into MSc. and its not all fun fun fun, its tired tired tired with the usual sleeping in class, presentations, homeworks, self study etc. oh well, tats a student's life. it is now 2am and i'm going to bed...i'll leave a picture for all of you.

Alright, here goes. I SAW ONE!!! I SAW ONE!!! The first meteor in my life!!! and i took a picture of it!!! damn i’m excited. Standing out there in the cold weather for 2 hours pays off. Its not a big one. I wonder if I get the chance again later tonight. Hopefully it will be clear skies again tonight unlike the thick clouds you can see in my picture. Hmmmm..anybody else got any pictures?

Sunderland 21st Airshow 2009

My housemate, John and I went to Seaburn to watch the airshow which was quite a hit recently since more and more people are watching it every year. So I thought it would be worth to watch waiting and walking there. The night before we checked the weather which was fine and sunny. The next morning we took a metro to Seaburn and walk towards the beach (following the crowd to be exact) where it was held.

As expected, huge crowds turned up on the metro and the beach. I have never seen the beach crowded with so many people. There was a lot of booths on display which almost all of them belonged to the RAF (Royal Air Force). I think they are desperate in recruit people as they are advertising everywhere you can think of. They had the Red Arrows plane (fake), Harrier Jumpjet (fake) and a Chinook CH-47 helicopter (real) on display. They also showed the cannons and missles used on their jet fighters. There is food stands everywhere mainly selling what Britons loves most (potato chips). They had 4 flying simulators on where you step in for free. Next is a video of the Red Arrows in action.

They did have a F16 fighter in action but we didn’t have enough time to shoot a video of it. It was extremely quick and loud. They borrowed it from Netherlands though..hehe. Then they had a demonstrations with the Spitfires and some other planes seen in Pearl Harbour (the movie).

I recently stumbled on this piece of video (an F/A-18 Hornet) as part of the festivities for the American Power Boat Association Gold Cup. See video below.

No, neither of them are my hometown nor where i was raised but it is where i spent my school and chinese new year holidays when i was a child with my family. It was only a short trip of 4 days and 3 nights but it was a ‘all-in-one’ holiday…i even got to ride an express!! i believe the last time i rode was when i was 11 or 12 yrs old…i think. i get to see my cousin whom i haven’t seen in 10 yrs or more…eat and drink everything i can think of…except for ONE…just tat ONE stupid glass bottled drink i forgot to drink…sigh…its only found in sibu, bintangor and sarikei traditionally…so…tats tat…let bygones be bygones i suppose…god damnnit!! i’ll get u next time stupid drink!

But, there is a solution!!! YAY!!! There is a patch made by Rafael Rivera of uxtheme which removes this function of Photo Sharing.

Instead, Messenger will send the images as a normal file transfer. Everybody with photography or film making interest should know this Micro Four Third (MFT) frenzy by Panasonic and Olympus by now. The only thing different with this MFT is that it not only captures fantastic photos, it also take astonishing HD videos!!! Damn...sources said it would be price with the same price as the Nikon D90 which takes better photos, more lense choices instead of 2 but average HD videos of 720p instead of 1080p. Hmmmm...tough choice.

So it has smaller body than a average DSLR, same quality of pictures (which some don't agree), stereo audio capture (which is better than most DSLR audio), comes bundled with a 14-140mm lense (which is great value) and user friendly menus. Anyway, take a look at the videos it took below.

Father and Son...A story...

This is very touching. Makes me think if my dad would do that for me or I would do that for my son. Take some time to see the following message and click to see the video, which is very touching.....

One day, a son asks his dad "Daddy, would you like to run a marathon with me?". The father says "yes".
And they run their first marathon together.

One day, the son asks his father " Daddy, would you run the Ironman with me?"
The Ironman is the most difficult triathlon ever (4 kms swimming, 180 kms bikin, 42 km running?)

Minolta 50mm ROKKOR-X 1:1.4 macro

I've got my new lens today. After spending months of reading and research, I settled with this. Its a Minolta MD ROKKOR-X 50mm 1:1.4 MF only. Before you guys ask any questions about compatibility, I gotta say that this lens ROCKS!!! I got it off eBay for GBP40 shipped from the States. Since its f number is so small...the amount of light it took in is phenomenal. Its a lot heavier than my bog standard 18-55mm Nikon ED lens. Its full metal-built lens feels very solid and tough. I haven't exactly got it to fit on my D60 yet but i took it for a test in 'another' way. I'm still waiting for my adapter though to perfectly fit on my D60.

Since Minolta had experience in making lens that rival Nikon or Canon, I think its a no-brainer to buy this one especially with an 1:1.4 standard. A Nikkor 50mm 1:1.4 would set you back for about GBP220 for the AF version and about GBP330 for the AF-S version. Of course, in photography, what you for is what you get. But the Minolta defies that theory, partly because it quite old and it doesn't have any AF or AF-S function but I gotta hand it to ‘em, these are nice colours. But some pics are blurry due to the stupid freakishly strong wind which UK is always 'feymes' for...sigh...I used an extremly high shutter speed (1/800) to catch it. Enough said, look at the 'another way' pictures. I'll post a real picture test after i got my adapter.

The method used to take most of these pics is the reverse-mount method. How do you reverse-mount? Ideally, you need to have two lens of any type. Mount one in the way how you normally mount a lens and the other attached to it in reverse. Try to look it up on google. These pics are still noob-ish so I need more work…hehe…

I bet everybody have been wondering what's it like to fly AirAsia x for a whole 13hours...well here's your answer. A review from two very established travel sites tried out airasia x and they found it pleasing but of course there are certain downsides. read on.
